It’s hard to know what to say, or how to say it in a way people will understand clearly. Dr. Sood went above and beyond; he ran tests my former general practitioner should have requested; it took the entirety of our doctor-patient relationship for what could be my final diagnosis to finally present itself, and through each morph and the symptoms, he took the time to explain what was happening and what the medications should be doing. His attention to detail helped make treating my elusive illness easier; and he always made time to make sure I was doing and feeling okay each time we saw each other (even if the appointments were only days apart). He’s not the type of doctor that shies away from a challenging case, and for that, I’m grateful, because that’s how I’ve been described. Without his help, I would be far worse off than I am.

My husband Dave is being treated for Renal Cancer spread to his bones by Dr. Arjun Sood and immunotherapy. Dr. Sood cares so much for his patients and we would recommend him to anyone going through this terrible disease. He answers all of our questions, takes his time with his patients during office visits, he informs us step-by-step what the procedures are and is very knowledgeable in many aspects of the medical field. He is so accommodating when it comes to managing pain and comes highly recommended by the both of us. Thank you for all that you do for your cancer patients Dr. Sood.

We first met Dr. Arjun Sood in February 2015 after receiving my husband’s stage 4 mantle cell lymphoma diagnosis. From the very beginning Dr. Sood clearly explained the impending protocol in depth taking the time to answer all of our questions throughout the process. He is a compassionate man who became our guiding light through a very dark time in our lives.

Dr. Sood arranged for a stem cell transplant in Boston that same year and I am happy to report that my husband is three years into remission and going strong. I reserve the word brilliant in my vocabulary for the extraordinary, it is without hesitation that I write Dr. Arjun Sood is a brilliant man.

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to him as he moves on in his career, we will forever be in his debt. His presence in our lives has had a profound impact and we are truly blessed to have had his medical guidance. He saved my husband’s life, I remain eternally grateful.
